This is my CHIP-8 interpreter that I have written using Rust and Bevy. It has support for loading different ROMs and for having different themes. The screenshot shows off the default theme. But you are more than able to check out the others or add your own! The GitHub link has full instructions on how it works.
I am currently developing it still and trying to improve it even further. I next have planned to add more features. Features such as: UI to make loading themes and ROMs easier, UI to show the values that are currently inside different registers, and allow you to be able to control the clock speed, amongst more ideas.
Hi, I'm JT Anderson. I have been programming for over 10 years now at this point. I have always loved to create and programming has allowed me to explore that passion. I simply love getting to sit down and work on a problem that genuinely interests me. Nothing else keeps me up until 4am and wanting to stay up even longer just to keep going.
I am pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at Arizona State University. At the time of writing I have less than one week of classes left, and less than two weeks until graduation. I have always loved interacting with people and getting to understand why we are the way that we are.
With my background in Psychology I'm in a unique position where not only can I work with the people next to me on a team well. But, I can also understand how the systems that we put forth affect the users that will be experiencing them. I can combine my two greatest interests - people and technology - in ways that haven't been seen much before.
